Friends Of Baseball can provide you with financial resources in order to 'play the game' While our trustees value tournament play we are unable to fund expenses related to events that require overnight expenses at this time.

Where are grants available?

Grants are available in North West Oregon. (See map)
If your organization is located in the state of Oregon but does not fall into our current granting region, please contact us as we may have alternative sources of grant funding for your organization.

When will grants be made?

The trustees will review grants on an ongoing basis, with actual grants to be funded four times each year, in February, May, August, and November. Grants should be submitted no later than the following dates for trustee review in each granting cycle:
  • December 15th
  • March 15th
  • June 15th
  • September 15th
On a very limited basis, individual grants may be considered in other months by our trustees and partners to meet a specific and immediate need. All grants authorized by the Trustees will be reviewed with specific consideration relating to costs and budget.

How will grants be disbursed?

The endowment will make payment to the organization based on accurate budgets that are submitted and approved in the grant. Trustees may also recommend the goods or services come from alternative provider(s) that offer enhancements or cost savings to the endowment and its partners. Teams or organizations who receive grants must forward a letter to Friends of Baseball, confirming implementation and expenditures relatling to the grant.

Organizations are welcome to re-apply for grants as specific needs occur. Those organizations under serious review will be contacted directly by a Trustee, to include a possible meeting with a Trustee, to establish current information prior to the final granting process.

The dream begins now.
